The Evangelical Fellowship of the Church in Wales deeply regrets and is saddened by the recent decision of the Governing Body to authorise a liturgy to bless same sex marriage/civil partnerships.
EFCW will continue to provide support for all who have reservations about this decision and calls on the Bishops of the Church in Wales to provide pastoral care for clergy and lay alike who struggle with this course, and assurances that the ‘conscience clause’ will remain part of the legal process. A fuller statement will be available shortly on the website.
We continue to pray for and support the work of the Church in Wales as it brings the good news of Jesus to the people of Wales.

A group in Ammanford Evangelical Church is praying for you all to be given the wisdom that comes from God to approach this situation in a way that honours him. So many of us in non-conformity have cause to praise God for the way he has used many of you guys to bless our souls through a faithful Biblical ministry. The Lord help you all to stand up against the trashing of God’s Law by the Bishops.
