It was great to welcome a number of our members along to the recent conference in Mid-Wales and to hear from Open Doors about the fantastic work they’re doing supporting persecuted Christians around the world. It was also good to welcome the Venerable Will Strange to address us on the topic of our changing cultural landscape.
As you’ll know we normally hold our AGM as part of our conference however this year the numbers attending were just short of those required by our constitution to be quorate. As you’ll no doubt be aware, we need to approve the annual report and accounts at the AGM before they can be submitted to the Charity Commission and we also need discuss elections to a number of posts on the exec.
As such we are going to hold an AGM on Zoom on Monday 14th October at 2pm. We are also pleased to say that we will be welcoming Glen Scrivener, lead evangelist at Speak Life, to speak to us about low-tide evangelism before the main business of the AGM.
Please put the date in your diaries, or let us know of any apologies, and if you would like the Zoom code to join us please drop us a message or email.
