This year we have a number of speakers for our Summer Conference. We are pleased to be welcoming along Open Doors, a Christian Charity working with persecuted Christians throughout the world. They’ll be sharing about their work and how we can support and encourage our brothers and sisters who face violence and persecution for their faith. We will then hear from Coalition for Marriage as we consider both the recent changes to the Church in Wales’ liturgy and the coming changes as the Church in Wales considers Same Sex Marriage.
And tying it all together we are pleased to welcome back the Venerable Will Strange to give both the address during the opening worship and to lead the plenary session and Q&A at the end of the day.
Saturday 14th September, 10am – 3.30pm
St Tecla’s Church, Llandegely, Llandrindod Wells, Powys, LD1 5UF
Parking is in the farmyard opposite.
As part of the day we will be having our AGM to which all members are invited to come and be updated on what we’ve been doing for the last year, to elect new officers to the exec, and to help shape our plans for the coming year and beyond.
We’re looking forward to getting together again both to worship and learn together but also to encourage one another in our different contexts.
So that we can manage numbers please book below. Following the success of last year we are once again giving the option to have a cold buffet lunch, for which there is a small charge of £5. If you would like this please select that option when choosing tickets and have your card ready.
